To properly break in the reman’d DSG transmission we just had to replace in the CC and to celebrate how much better and smoother this replacement transmission was we took a nice little drive out to Port Angeles. It was the best (feeling) drive we have finally taken since buying the CC back in 2010. Long story short, our initial VW ignored conclusions were validated. We had a faulty DSG from the start, denied under warranty when we thought something was up and asked that they take care of it. 100k plus miles of miserable lurching when accelerating from stops, completely eliminated and rectified with this replacement. Not too happy about having to fork out that cost now but grateful for the connections that minimized the financial pain this would inflict. The CC drives like a brand new car!
